MEDICARE REBATES

May apply if you have been referred by your GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician.

HEALTH INSURANCE REBATES *

Rebates are available from most health funds for psychologist consultations providing you have ancilliary (or extras) benefits insurance.

Please note that you cannot use your private health insurance ancilliary cover to top up a Medicare rebate.

TAX OFFSETS *

Spend more than $1500 in total on net medical expenses in any tax year and claim a tax offset for the surplus.
Some work related sessions may be deductible to employers.

FEES

A standard one hour consultation is currently priced at $200.00. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, credit card or EFTPOS. There is no additional electronic processing fee.

This practice has a MediClear facility which enables you to process Medicare claims electronically. Medicare rebates can therefore be paid directly to your bank account without the need to visit a Medicare office & clients find this service most beneficial.

24 hours notice of appointment cancellation is required to avoid charges.
