Kim Hadley - Hills Psychologist providing counselling, treatment and prevention services

As a registered psychologist, I specialise in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of a wide range of psychological and general health concerns for adults, couples and families. Many of my clients are mentally healthy people who require assistance to facilitate change, function more effectively and unlock their potential to attain their goals. My treatment strategies are reliable and scientifically and/or researched based.

My counselling style is directive and integrates techniques and theory drawn from Cognitive (CBT), Schema-Focussed, Solution-Focussed, Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) & Mindfullness based therapies. Clients are actively involved in the treatment process, reviewing and evaluating progress and goal setting. Men will find their consultations focussed on self help & personal achievement.

Some issues are resolved in 1 session; most clients attend between 4 and 10 sessions. Typically clients report positive outcomes within 3 sessions.

My practice is online and via zoom. Should you have concerns about how this works please feel free to discuss this with me prior to our engagement.

Note: By arrangement I attend retirement villages or nursing homes for elderly clients.
